Ipswich Cup 2010

An 8-a-side knockout comp to determine the best LMS team in Ipswich. Starting October 31

Run along similar lines to the Soccer World Cup, teams will be split into groups of 4 and the winner from each group will progress.

However losing all three games does not end your journey there - the teams will be split into 3 groups after the conclusion of the group stage. From there they will compete for the Ipswich Cup, the Ipswich Plate and the Ipswich Spoon... (yes a wooden spoon)

Entry cost per team is $600 for early birds paying in full before October 15 and $650 for disorganised teams and includes 5 guaranteed games as well as a final to be played on Turf at Swifts Sports Club. $50 from each team will be going to a local Junior Cricket Club.

The usual Last Man Stands format applies to all games.

There will be awards for Best Batters, Bowlers, Keepers etc as well as an overall player of the comp. There will also be an opportunity for the Ipswich Dream Team to play against a yet to be determined opponent.
