Tournament Summary
The 2015 Last Man Stands World Championship will involve 32 teams battling it out for a spot at finals day at Kensington oval on the 28th of March. Twenty international sides from all over the world will be flying into Barbados to take part in the 4th LMS World Championship which kicks off on Friday the 20th of March (see tournament schedule below). The 2015 LMS World Champions will take home $16,000 ($8000 USD) but will the trophy and cash prize stay in Barbados or will it head to South Africa or Australia or England or New Zealand or even the USA?
The hot favourites for the event are Cow Tippers from New Zealand. They are ranked number 1 out of 3000 teams playing LMS Globally. They boast a win record of 88% from 82 games played in the LMS format. They are on a superb winning streak but can they be stopped in this event? There is no doubt that local sides such as Empire, Spartan, Wanderers, Wildey, Carlton, UWI Blackbirds have the talent to go all the way! Lack of experience in the LMS format will count against the local sides initiially but as the tournament progresses they are expected to dominate the event!
The bookies are predicting that the 1/4 finals will involve 4 international sides and 4 Barbados sides.

Tournament Structure
Teams will be split up into 8 groups of four teams.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the last 16 of the B$16,000 Cup Knockout
The bottom two teams in each group will play in the plate event.
First round losers of the Cup Knock Out will qualify for the Shield.
First round losers of the Plate will qualify for the Bowl.
