The Last Man Stands World Champs is back on Aussie soil for the first time since 2019 and will be held in Australia’s tourist capital, the Gold Coast! This event will be bigger and better, with breathtaking cricket, a beautiful backdrop and some brilliant banter - the stuff unforgettable memories are made of.

Team Eligibility
All teams entering the 2024 World Champs will need to play at least 5 LMS games between 1 January 2024 and 18 November 2024
Please note: Each squad must have a Minimum of 8 players and Max of 12 players
Players who meet at least one of following criteria will eligible to play in the 2024 World Champs:
- Players who have played a minimum of 3 games, between 1 January 2024 and 18 November 2024, for the team they are representing in the 2024 World Champs
- Players who have played at least 10 career games for the team they are representing in the 2024 World Champs
A player is only allowed to represent one team at the World Champs. If a player meets the eligibility criteria for more than one team, they can only be selected and play for one team at the World Champs
In certain scenarios (for example where travelling teams that have last minute visa issues) the tournament organisers might allow players who do not meet the player eligibility criteria to be added to the squad list. The tournament organiser will ensure the integrity of the tournament is upheld and will make sure the incoming player is not strengthening the team.
Player Exclusions:
Player Exclusion Rule 1:
- No Player who is currently contracted to a team/squad that competes in a First Class, List A or T20 competition will be allowed to compete at World Champs 2024.
Player Exclusion Rule 2:
- If a player has played a match that has official First Class, List A or T20 status as defined by the most current ICC CLASSIFICATION OF OFFICIAL CRICKET since 1 January 2021 they will be considered a professional player and they will not be allowed to compete in the LMS World Championship.
Exceptions to Player Exclusion Rule 2
- Exceptions MIGHT be made if the player has played at least 25 career games of Last Man with at least 5 of those 25 games, being played in 2024, for the team they will represent at World Champs 2024.
LMS HQ will have final approval over players eligibility to ensure the spirit of LMS is upheld.
