3 Days to World Champs 2022! 

With just 3 days to go until the 7th edition of the Last Man Stands World Champs, the anticipation is building after a 4-year hiatus.  

The pinnacle event is set to take place in the cultural capital that is Cape Town, South Africa from 11-18 December 2022 hosted by the beautiful Western Province Cricket Club in partnership with Heineken, with the Opening Ceremony held at Newlands.

A total of 36 teams will compete this year in a bid to be crowned Last Man Stands World Champs in what will be the culmination of qualifying events to this point.  Traveling from Australia, Pakistan, England, Scotland, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, USA, Singapore and South Africa, teams will be looking forward to the high standard of competition and camaraderie that this amateur event always promises to deliver. 

Cape Town will be home to LMS World Champs for the next 3 years too, following previous successful and enjoyable World Champs events in 2017 & 2012.

Live-streamed games broadcast to our YouTube channel and social media pages will ensure that friends and family and avid LMS followers and cricket lovers can tune in to watch and support teams regardless of location.
