Last Man Stands (LMS) is thrilled to announce that we are bringing the world’s largest amateur T20 cricket league to Chicago for Summer 2025! The Windy City is the latest destination to join our growing cricket community.
Leading the charge in Chicago is Tom Delaney, an Australian who has played over 200 LMS matches back home and is eager to bring his passion for the game to this city. Having recently moved to Chicago, Tom saw an opportunity to introduce LMS to a city with a strong sporting culture and a rapidly growing cricket scene.
Cricket in Chicago: A City Ready for LMS
Chicago is famous for its sports-mad culture, boasting legendary teams across baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. But cricket is also on the rise, with facilities catering to the sport. With LMS’ unique 8-a-side, 2-hour T20 format, we’re excited to provide a fast-paced, social and highly competitive cricketing experience for players of all skill levels.
With the success of LMS leagues already running in New York, Chicago is the next step in growing the game across the U.S. Whether you're a seasoned cricketer or a newcomer looking for a fun and engaging way to play, LMS Chicago will be the perfect opportunity to get involved.
