Yesterday, the SA Champs 2024 came to a spectacular conclusion with Sandton Royals clinching the title in a nail-biting final against Rebels! The match, held at Marks Park, Joburg, kept spectators gripped till the last ball.
Martin Van Wyk of Sandton Royals was named Player of the Match with his bowling performance 4.0-1-18. Murray Walkman of Rebels and Nick Whitelaw of Sandton Royals both scored 50s but it wasn’t enough to take Rebels over the line.
SA Plate Champs 2024 are Fat Cats CC who defeated Panthers in the final by 8 wickets. Player of the Match was Fat Cats CC’s Nhlanhla Nhleko 31(14) 2.0-0-12.
